At Visual Jill their approach to interior decorating and home staging is fresh, comfortable, California modern. With Bay Area real estate booming and open homes actually "opening up" they have been busy with home staging projects.
This is a recent staging of a Berkeley home. Visual Jill often uses local artist's work in their decor. This project featured wonderful art by local artists, Audrey Kral @audreykral2020 and Yarra McClure @yarra_mcclure
Next is another recent staging of a lovely El Cerrito, California modern with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. This one includes art by local artists: Harry Williams @hwilliamsjrphoto, AMiguel @alanmiguelhall, Side tables by David Hassall, Susan Adame @susanadame, Alix Mitgang @alix.s.mitgang, and Stephen Gertsman @stephengerstman.
Jill McCoy is the founder and principal designer at Visual Jill. Here she is hunting for unique home items at the Oakland Vintage Market in Jack London Square. This day she found Cherner chairs, purchased from the wonderful Narrative Oak booth @narrativeoak. She has been featured in articles for Houzz, Dwell, SF Chronicle and others. They often highlight her use of local artists in her staging projects.
"We use original art when we stage a home - it makes a huge difference in how the house shows. We have a program we call our 'Traveling Art Gallery,' hanging art we love from local artists. It's a win-win for everyone - we have the cool original art we need to make a home look fantastic, and the artist gets to show his/her work." - Jill McCoy
